CHRISTOPHER SCHINK

To be bold and free in painting you have to know not only how to paint, but what to paint. You have to be clear in your concept and confident in your craft. I combined at an early age my passion for art and music, drawing and painting the heroes of my youth — musicians, football players, and cowboys. That passion continues today. Although the form of my painting has changed since those early efforts, my content and objective remain the same: to capture the involvement, enthusiasm, feeling, and authenticity of my subjects in a direct and sincere way.
