PAMELA COHEN

Biography:

As a biologist and photographer, Pamela Cohen incorporates knowledge of nature and blends it with competency in photography to create stunning images in the wild. She has studied in the field under the guidance of National Geographic photographers, including Frans Lanting and Galen Rowell, recognized as two of the finest landscape and nature photographers of the recent era. Currently, Pamela is a lecturer, teacher, and writer. Her naturalist instincts create a strong desire for conservation and preservation of the environment.

Pamela’s passion for travel has also transported her to Italy to photograph extensively throughout the country. It is from these portfolios that her images also grace fine restaurants in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.  Her work has also been displayed in the prestigious Butler Institute of American Art.
